Cuisinart says cook 25–50 °F lower for recipes not written for the air fryer, and start checking 5–10 minutes before the end.
The AIR-200C and AFR-25 booklets: for recipes not developed for the basket air fryer, cook at a temperature 25–50 °F lower than the recipe, and start checking foods about 5–10 minutes before the suggested time. The AIR-200C booklet prints “[-3.8°C to 10°C]” beside that — but as a temperature difference, 25–50 °F is about 14–28 °C, which is what we use. Cuisinart’s air fryer toaster ovens give a different rule for their convection setting (25 degrees lower).
